Under the Hood with Our Volunteers
Firebird Fest is borne of the hard work of a small group of individuals who work on organizing the event in their spare time and with their own monies.  While it is intended to be a fun event, it is also a lot to put together.

If you would be interested in joining in the planning and organization, becoming a judge for the show, or helping out with Firebird Fest in any way, please use the form on the Register/Contact page to let us know!  We will happily take all the help we can get!

Bethany Orr-Creator/President
The organizer and creator of Firebird Fest, Bethany is currently a full-time student and stay-at-home mom with a hearty interest in Trans Ams and Firebirds of all types and ages.  Her parents worked for General Motors for several years, and she spent many of her early years at car shows and in the backseat of her father's 1979 Trans Am.  She spent many of her pre-teen and teenage years in her mother's 1983 Trans Am, and...well, the rest is history.

She is currently restoring a 1988 Trans Am GTA and hopes to have it finished by Firebird Fest 2011.

Mike Woznick-Vice President
A lifetime Alamance County resident, Mike has been a champion for the sponsorship and fundraising of Firebird Fest of the Carolinas.  He's responsible for planning the route and setup of the Saturday evening cruise and posting signs and banners for the Fest, including dangerous stuntwork to get signs hung by any means necessary!

The Holleys
Mike and Alicia Holley of Bristol, TN, are instrumental in the success of Firebird Fest.  From Saturday morning to Saturday night, they assist with parking and helping other show-goers in finding the help they need.  When you see the "moving construction cone" Suburban, you know there are helpful people inside!

Tracie Ennis
Tracie is responsible for creating all the papers and forms in association with Firebird Fest.  Every sign and registration form you see at the show was most likely created by Tracie.  She also donated several pieces of jewelry for the raffle at the 2010 show, contributing to the financial success of the show.
